Student/Faculty Exchange Training Program: Health and Cultural Immersion 2011 between Sekolah Tingi Ilmu Kesehatan(STIKES), Bali, Indonesia and Prapokklao Nursing College, Chanthaburi (1-23 Oct 2011)

          This program is developed based on a collaboration of Boromarajonani College of Nursing (Central Network 1), Association of Indonesia Nursing Education Centers (AINEC), and Sekolah Tinggi Illmu Keschatan Bali (STIKES Bali), Indonesia. The purpose of this program is to develop an academic alliance by the exchange of students and faculties for collaboration in knowledge development and research. In 2011, this program is undertaken from 1-23 October 2011.


          According to the 2011 program, there are 3 students from STKIES Bali staying at Phrapokklao Nursing College, Chanburi.


          At Phrapokklao Nursing College, three exchange students are taught by professional staff in several topics, such as health issue in Thailand, the concept of health promotion, convention on the right of child, and community placement. They also have experience to work in community with Thai students at Taporn Village, Kloong Chantaburi. In addition, cultural activities and recreation are provided for them.

          “I have many experiences in Chantaburi, such as riding a bike around the city to visit the famous places…. I enjoy practice in community with Thai friends because I can see unique things in Thai community, such as Thai traditional house, and many kinds of fruits.”
