Student/Faculty Exchange Training Program: Health and Cultural Immersion 2012 between Sekolah Tingi Ilmu Kesehatan(STIKES), Bali, Indonesia and Prapokklao Nursing College, Chanthaburi (6-16 May 2012)

          According to the 2008 Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Boromarajonani College of Nursing (Central Network 1) and Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Kesehatan (STIKES) Bali, 18 students and 6 lecturers are recruited to participate in an international project ‘Student/Faculty Exchange Training Program: Health and Cultural Immersion 2012, held by STIKES Bali, Indonesia from 6-26 May 2012. Among those, there are three students and one lecturer from Phrapokklao Nursing College joining this program.

          “So exciting for me to join the project. I will learn health care system and nursing education in Indonesia. I expect to get new experiences about language, cultures, and new friends from Bali.”
“Sittipon”
 
          “Bali is a wonderful island that has a unique culture so I want to get there once in my life. I expect to learn Balinese culture such as language and tradition. As an exchanged student, I will inform Thai culture such as language, food, music etc. to Balinese friends.”

“Sudarat”
 
          “I expect the program will offer me new experience related to healthcare system and culture. Also, it is good for me to make new friends from Bali.”

“Jirapohn”
 
          During the program 2012, there are many activities provided by STIKES Bali, including an academic class lecture, field study, and cultural class. Despite a full schedule of study, some tours are provided for relaxation.
